Short version: if you sign up for launch updates, we keep your email address to email you when VEXel launches, plus the odd new drop. We don't sell it or share it for advertising, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
VEXel (vexel.co.za) is an online t-shirt shop based in South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You can reach us at hello@vexel.co.za.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you enter it in the "Notify me" form.
- Sign-up details that our email service records automatically to show you agreed to receive emails: the date and time you signed up, your IP address and whether you confirmed your subscription.
We don't ask for your name, phone number or anything else. This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To send you launch news about VEXel: an email when the store opens, and occasional updates about new designs if you stay subscribed. We only email you because you asked us to.
Who stores it
Our mailing list is stored and sent by Sender (sender.net), an email service that processes the data on our behalf. Sender is based outside South Africa, so your email address is stored outside the country. Sender operates under the European Union's GDPR, which gives protection comparable to POPIA. Sender's sign-up form may set the technical cookies it needs to work.
We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If we stop running the mailing list, we delete the list.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@vexel.co.za.
- Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) if you're unhappy with how we handle your information.
Changes
When the store launches we'll update this page to cover orders, delivery and payments. The date at the top shows the latest version.
